Anxiety & Depression in Older Adults

Anxiety and depression are experienced across the lifespan. These conditions often go unnoticed and untreated in older adults for a variety of reasons. Depression is more common in people who are experiencing losses in independence or functionality or have other illnesses such as heart disease or cancer. (About 50% of older adults have two or more chronic health conditions). However, anxiety and depression are not normal or expected parts of aging, and most older adults do not experience either!

Join this webinar to learn more about the risks, signs, and symptoms of anxiety or depression in older adults. Get strategies to help a friend or family member get the help they need to feel better as they age.

Our presenter, Tamara L. Statz, MA. LMFT, FT, is a passionate advocate for older adults and their families.
